In addition, the college uses a quality point system to calculate grade point averages (GPA). - Each letter grade corresponds to a certain number of quality points, as follows: A+ (4.33), A (4.00), A- (3.67), B+ (3.33), B (3.00), B- (2.67), C+ (2.33), C (2.00), C- (1.67), D+ (1.33), D (1.00), and F (0). - To calculate a student's GPA, the student's quality points are divided by the total number of credits attempted. The resulting number represents the student's GPA on a 4.0 scale.
